Most Common Question Ask By The Interviewer

Interview is the basic and important process of any job if u are preparing for any interview you have to face many question so we prepare a list of 21 common question which ask by the interviewer.

01.Tell me something about yourself.

It's probably the most common question asked by the interviewer because its sets the target or path for the interview. You don't need to explain your hole life story just tell him your Name, Educational background, Past experience if any you have and your current life situation are enough.

02.Why did you quit your last job?

Always gives positive reason never try to be negative because it creates bad impression so just smile and talk about leaving for a positive reason such as an opportunity, a chance to do something special or other forward-looking reasons.

03.What do you know about this company?

Before facing any interview you have to do your homework. collect all the some basic information about the company like its background and current situations it shows that you are genuinely interested into the company and job.

04.Why do you want to be the part of this company

This question should be based on your research that you have done on the company. just try to match company goal as your goal, show your interest in relevant field.

05.What relevant experience do you have?

If u have some experience into relevant field so its good for you and if you don't have any experience just try to get closer as you can. 

06.Do you know anyone who works for us? 

Just simply reply no and if you know any one then interviewer want to know about him, his designation etc. 


07.Where else have you applied?

This is a good way to hint that you're in demand, without sounding like you're whoring yourself all over town. So, be honest and mention a few other companies but don't go into detail. 

08.Are you a team leader or player? 

Try to be positive and reply yes i m a team player because its your key point where interviewer see your managerial skills. 

09.If we hired you so how long you work for us. 

Just reply positively that as long as we both satisfied i m doing a good work 

10.Tell me about any conflict you've have face with your previous boss or subordinates.

The interviewer is testing you to see if you'll speak badly about your previous boss or subordinates so be positive and tell him the good things. 

11.Describe the situation in which you lead the team.

Outline the situation, your role and the task of the group overall. Describe any problems which arose and how they were tackled. Say what the result was and what you learned from it. 

12.Why should we hire you?

Just try to match your qualities with the company demands and never try to compare your self with any other person. 

13.What are your strength?

This is your chance to be a star and start telling him what are your strength like Learn from failure, Management skills, Group working capabilities, Communicate effectively and Great motivator etc. 

14.What are your weakness?

State your all weakness as a strength like. Afraid to delegate important task to other, Office politics make me nervous don't deny that you have any weaknesses - everyone has weaknesses and if you refuse to admit to them the interviewer will mark you down as arrogant and untruthful. 

15.What are your hobbies?

Just tell him about your hobbies like play chess and cricket, reading newspaper or magazines etc. but be aware because next question relate with your hobby. 

16.Are you able to work any time (overtime or day and night shift) or any place(inside or outside hometown)? 

This question is totally depend up on you so be honest and reply. 

17.What is the meaning of your name? 

Search on net or Google it u find lots of relevant data. 

18.Describe your self in one word.

In such a situation you can use positive words that bring about your most positive characteristics. 
Some words:
lovely, humorous, beautiful, complicated, futuristic, flexible, conversational, loyal, punctual, independent, creative, forgiving, hopeful, sentimental and possessive etc. 

19.How did you prepare for this interview 

I prepare for this interview by reading newspaper, books, magazines and surfing internet. 

20.Why you should be selected and what if not selected?

Tell him that you prepare honestly for your selection and confident for your selection and if not selected tell them that you are going to re-prepair for interview with more confident and came back again when ever the vacancy is available because you decided to join the XXX organization or sector.

21.Have you got any question?

At the end of the interview, it is likely that you will be given the chance to put your own questions to the interviewer and always have some questions prepared like.

A good generic one is "how soon could I start, if I were offered the job of course.What type of projects will I be able to assist on etc.
